I know these are just screenshots off my phone, but I'm sure they will suffice to show my progress. I don't want to call them results, because it is so final and implies that I am finished with what I started. Like I said when I started, this month was about finding 'Me' and getting back to the habits that support me. The revelation that I don't need to compromise my own eating habits to fit in with what other people in my household want to eat has really helped. I don't intend on making multiple meals, but I can make sure that I have the foods that make me feel good.

Being aware that I have grown up with emotional eating habits has really helped me to divert that energy into something more productive.

I am eating well, don't crave so much of the stuff I use to comfort me- corn chips and chocolate. I am happy with my herbal teas and water- with the occasional sugar reduced cordial (have a type 1 diabetic in the household- so no full strength here), I don't feel the urge for diet soft drink. On the exercise front, I am back into running 5kms in under 30mins, loving the sessions I am doing at the gym. Riding every bike like I stole it (in RPM classes) and feeling like I have a lot more energy- even though I am back at school running hard after my new Preps.

My goal for February is exercise based- run 5kms twice a week- short, hard workout that makes me feel very strong and powerful- I think having the treadmills in front of the mirror makes me more accountable to myself. I am being kind to myself, trying to stretch out the muscles that the chiropractor keeps poking that hurt like hell and loading up on my wonder supplement magnesium.

So excited that we have re-connected on this program. I have really enjoyed setting the foundations for the 'me' moving forwards. I know I could keep the mindset of training and eating for my wedding dress- but that already fits- so I'm training for beyond the wedding.
